Vela provides on-demand courier dispatch and delivery services for merchants and their customers. Delivery prices are shown before checkout and cover courier fulfillment, payment processing, and Vela's platform service.
By accessing or using Vela, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If using Vela on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Vela serves three types of users:
All payments are processed through Stripe. Vela retains a platform service fee from the displayed delivery price and pays the courier according to the rate shown when the job is offered. Refunds for eligible unclaimed jobs are issued according to the cancellation and refund terms shown at booking.
Users agree to maintain accurate account and delivery information, comply with applicable laws, and ensure that vehicles, licenses, insurance, and delivery contents meet all legal requirements that apply to their role.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vela's liability for a claim arising from a delivery is limited to the amount paid for the delivery giving rise to that claim.
Vela may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms or engage in fraudulent activity. Account holders may delete their account directly from the in-app account settings page. If you need additional help, contact support.
